If you decide to buy something through a link marked as an advert or affiliate link, I may receive a small commission from your purchase. This will not affect the price you pay.

Many of the products I recommend are things I have bought and used myself, and I will always tell you if something was gifted. Occasionally, particularly in gift guides and round-ups, I may include an affiliate link to a product or retailer I have not personally used when I genuinely believe it may be relevant or useful to my readers. I will make it clear when I am suggesting something rather than recommending it from personal experience.

Nobody has ever paid me to talk about their product, if that changes in the future I will always make it very clear at the beginning of the post that it is an Advertisement.

If I decide to accept any guest posts at any point it will always be disclosed if I receive any compensation for doing so. I will only consider guest posts that I believe fit in with the theme of the blog and hope will be of interest to you.

On the odd occasion, manufacturers or retailers may provide me with a product for free for me to try out and if I enjoy it, to share it with you. If this happens, I will always disclose to you in the post that the product(s) are gifted.

I have no ongoing partnerships or collaborations with brands other than the previously declared affiliate links. If this was to change this policy will be updated to reflect this.

When reviewing products or services I will always strive to ensure my content is as unbiased as possible. I will never accept a payment for a positive review or be swayed from my personal opinion when sharing my experience.

I aim to comply with relevant UK advertising, consumer protection and data protection requirements.

I use artificial intelligence as a tool to help me run Creative Fibro. This can include assisting with research, fact-checking, editing and refining my writing, brainstorming, planning social media content and creating or developing some of the imagery used on the site.

Creative Fibro is AI-assisted, not AI-originated. The experiences, opinions, ideas and personal perspective behind the content are my own. For new articles, I generally write the original draft myself and use AI as part of the research and editorial process.

Most importantly, I retain full editorial control. I review, edit and approve everything published under the Creative Fibro name. I do not publish automatically generated articles that I have not personally read, checked and decided I am happy to put my name to.

Where factual information matters, particularly health information, I aim to check it against appropriate reliable sources rather than treating an AI response as a source in itself.

Like a lot of bloggers, I hope Creative Fibro will eventually provide some income. But above that, even, I have my integrity. It is my promise that I will promote nothing to you I don’t believe in. If my opinion of something changes with time, I will go back and edit my blog post to reflect accordingly.
